FIELDS KEEPS STARTING JOB
Justin Fields will remain the New York Jets’ starter on Sunday, per Matt Zenitz on X.
The #Jets are set to start Justin Fields at quarterback tomorrow vs. the #Browns, sources tell @CBSSports.
Aaron Glenn had declined to say this week whether he’d be sticking with Fields or starting Tyrod Taylor but it’s set to be Fields that gets the start. pic.twitter.com/RjK1tZ3Y0A

He was benched a few weeks ago and bounced back with a solid game against the Cincinnati Bengals in the Jets’ only win of the season. Since then, the Jets had a firesale at the trade deadline with CB Sauce Gardner and DT Quinnen Williams now off the roster. Fields is the captain of a sinking ship, which leaves his future firmly in peril.
KYLER MURRAY LANDING SPOTS
I didn’t want to write a full post on this because it remains just baseless speculation at the moment. But much like everybody predicting Aaron Rodgers speculation this time last year, the Murray-Steelers media hype seems inevitable.
CBS Sports included it in a video and a full-length writeup today from Tyler Sullivan.
Perhaps the bigger story here is the idea that the Cardinals could beat the Steelers to the punch for a quarterback in the 2026 NFL Draft if they move on from Murray.
HEYWARD GRIT AND GRACE
Most of us know Cam Heyward’s origin story by now, but in case you don’t Revolt did a seven-minute feature on Heyward, his connections to Pittsburgh, his father’s legacy, and his rise to All-Pro play in the NFL while overcoming adversity along the way.
Injury tried to stop him. He turned it into motivation 💪🏾
Before the draft, Cameron Heyward tore his elbow and couldn’t even hit the combine, but he never folded. Every doubt became a reason to push harder and prove he was built for this.
