2024 NFL MVP Josh Allen led the Buffalo Bills to a fifth straight regular-season victory over the Kansas City Chiefs last Sunday on the back of his three total touchdowns.

The NFL, which stated this offseason that it would crack down even further on "inappropriate" scoring celebrations, was not amused. The league dinged both Allen ($14,491) and Moore ($13,888) with fines for broadcasting a "violent gesture" - which comes after another of the league's superstars was punished after imitating Travis Kelce.

NFL officiating and rules analyst Walt Anderson explained to the Associated Press over the summer that touchdown celebrations are "One of those areas that the league wants to work actively on."
"There are plenty of ways for players to be able to celebrate, and they come up with some very unique and often entertaining ways, so we want them to focus on those and not the inappropriate areas," he added.
Allen was arguably the star of Buffalo's win. He completed 23 of his 26 passes for 273 and a score through the air, adding two further touchdowns on the ground.
"They’re the pinnacle of what you want your franchise to be. They’ve been that for the last eight years,” he effusively said postgame of Kansas City.
“Any time you get a chance to play the best and you can come away with a victory, you’re going to be feeling pretty good.”
