Bryan Mbeumo urged his Manchester United teammates to "stay in the game" in the closing stages of their draw with Tottenham on Saturday.
United led at the half-time break thanks to a smart header from Mbeumo, but for the second time in eight days they saw their one-goal lead wiped out and they trailed 2-1 heading into the closing stages.
Just as they did at Forest last week, United dug themselves out of a hole with Matthijs de Ligt's late header ensuring they left the capital with a point.
Mbeumo's first-half strike means he has now scored four goals in his last four games for United, and the forward reflected on the draw after the game.
"It was a big drama but in the end we managed to come back late in the game and if we can’t win, don’t lose. We knew it was going to be hard in the second half, they were going to push," Mbeumo told TNT Sports.
"But before the first goal we conceded, we played a very good game. Very solid, but we still have to work on the goals we concede.
"I tried to talk to the guys and tell them to stay in the game. It was five minutes to go, we know anything can happen and I think we all have a very strong mentality now to come back and that’s what we have done. It builds confidence when we don’t lose."
Mbeumo continued: "It is always easier inside the pitch, outside the pitch, on the training ground so everyone is enjoying it a lot and we are going to try and build this as long as possible.
"Obviously it (United) is a lovely place to play, to develop, and I have got great teammates who are helping me and I think everybody is working really hard and it makes the job for everybody easier."
The draw with Spurs means United are now five games unbeaten in the Premier League. After the November international break comes a home clash with Everton before a trip to Crystal Palace and a home game against West Ham.
