David Moyes credited Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall for his impact on the Everton team after one of his best performances for the club.

The playmaker was a key part in a comprehensive team performance, linking attacks together while also battling hard to win possession whenever Fulham tried to clear their lines. He finished the game with an assist for Michael Keane but had thought he had doubled his account in Royal Blue before his goal was disallowed for offside against Thierno Barry.

It was an impressive performance from the summer signing, who Moyes has kept faith in throughout the season. He was named Everton’s player of the match for influence in a 2-0 win that will lift spirits around the club after a frustrating few weeks.

For Moyes, the display against Fulham was symbolic of the wider effect he has had on the Everton team as the Blues boss tries to transition into a side that is better with the ball.

Speaking after the match, he said: “He was terrific today. I think he's made such a difference to the team. He's made us much more creative and sort of cultured in the way we play.

“And he might be going under the radar a wee bit, even from Evertonians. He's playing so well. And he does the work as well. He covers big distances for us and all those things.

“So he's done a really good job. He's an intelligent boy as well. He wants the team to do well, wants the teams to play well, and he's certainly helped us play better.”
