Over the past two weeks, we have seen two very different sets of results in the NFL.
In Week 8, teams that were favored went 11-2 against the spread, leading some NFL fans to scratch their heads wondering if the league’s parity is no more.

Underdogs flipped the script in Week 9 to go 8-4 against the spread and 5-7 outright, including the Carolina Panthers’ win over the Green Bay Packers as 13.5-point underdogs which marked the largest upset of the season.

Atlanta Falcons vs Indianapolis Colts Under 48.5 (-112)
The Falcons and Colts face off in the fourth international game of this NFL season, with the sides traveling to Berlin, Germany for this Sunday morning contest.
For that reason, I am eyeing the under due to the history of low scores on international soil.
Going back to 2023, an average of 40.1 points have been scored across the last 15 games to take place overseas.
Both teams are capable of putting up points, but history indicates this game will go under.

Carolina Panthers -5.5 (-108) vs New Orleans Saints
The Panthers’ 5-4 start is the franchise’s best through nine games since the 2019 season. I am backing Carolina to continue its winning ways by covering the spread against the lowly Saints in Week 10.
This is not as much about the proficiencies of the Panthers as it is the deficiencies of the Saints.
New Orleans owns the worst record against the spread (2-7) of any NFL team this season, and things haven’t improved since inserting Tyler Shough as starting quarterback two weeks ago.
New York Giants vs Chicago Bears Over 46.5 (-115)
In six games with Jaxson Dart as starter, an average of 51.8 points have been scored in games involving the Giants, including a whopping 58 points per game across the last four weeks.
Dart is capable of leading the offense down the field, but New York’s defense gives up scoring drives for fun.

On the other side, the Bears are coming off an 89-point thriller against the Bengals, the highest-scoring game of the season so far.

With both offenses clicking and both defenses struggling, I am picking over 46.5 points in this one.
