Manchester City star Erling Haaland has admitted that he is in his best form ahead of the Liverpool clash in the Premier League. The striker added that he feels sharp and has learnt to relax at home to stay ready for the game.
Speaking to the media ahead of the Liverpool game, Haaland said that he has never felt better on the pitch, adding that it is the best version of himself this season. The Manchester City star claimed that it was down to several things going right and said (via GOAL):
"I feel this is the best version of myself - I’ve never felt better than now. To keep sharp, I keep my mind in the right place, recover well, do the right things at home, eat the right things, connect when I have to on the pitch and when I am at home, relax as much as possible to stay balanced and in the zone."
Erling Haaland has scored 13 goals in 10 Premier League matches this season. He has another five goals in the four UEFA Champions League matches, taking his tally to 17 goals for Manchester City.

Erling Haaland is chasing his first win over Liverpool in the Premier League, having lost all four games against the Reds since moving to Manchester City. The Norwegian has scored just once in the league, and it came in the 23/24 season at home in the 1-1 draw.
Speaking to the media about Liverpool ahead of the game on Sunday, November 9, Haaland said:
"I think they are a really solid team - they are Premier League champions - so they are a fantastic team, and they have got so many good players. I don’t think they have many weaknesses - they've had their struggles here and there - but they are such a good and complete side and that makes them one of the favourites to win the Premier League again."
"They are the champions, they are playing with the gold badge on their sleeve, so it’s going to be a difficult game. They spent a lot of money in the summer, so what can you say? I don’t think they have many weaknesses."
Haaland has just one win in eight matches against Liverpool in all competitions. The win came in the 2022/23 Carabaop Cup fourth round, when the Cityzens won 3-2.
