**Jahmai Simpson-Pusey is one of five changes in the Celtic side that plays Kilmarnock today.**
Martin O’Neill has rang the changes following the defeat from Midtjylland with the on loan Manchester City defender coming in from the cold.
#### THE LOAN BHOY
Since joining [Celtic](https://www.celticfc.com/news/2025/november/07/supporters-update/) on loan from Manchester City in August the only competitive action that the defender has seen was a 5-3 defeat away to East Fife in the SPFL Trophy.
It seems that Simpson-Pusey will play at right-back with Tony Ralston dropping down to the bench.
Kieran Tierney, Arne Engels, Ben Nygren and James Forrest all miss out with Marcel Saracchi, Luke McCowan, Reo Hatate and Daizen Maeda back in favour.
It had been feared that Engels had picked up an injury against Midtjylland but he makes it onto the bench for today’s 4pm kick off.
#### TROUBLES AT KILLIE
Kilmarnock come into the match on the back of four successive defeats with pressure mounting on Stuart Kettlewell.
As recently as September they ran Celtic all the way with only a late penalty from Kelechi Iheanacho delivering the points for the visitors.
Celtic fans are expecting an eventful time over the international break with a focus on the managerial situation.
The club hasn’t set any timeline for an appointment but with an international break there is an expectation for business to be done.
[O’Neill](https://videocelts.com/2025/11/blogs/latest-news/id-hate-to-see-chris-sutton-issues-warning-to-martin-oneill/) has been in charge for four matches inside 12 days, he has handled that well but is an unlikely long term candidate.
Full points creates a little bit of breathing space, anything less and the outside noise will be impossible to ignore. Hearts kick off an hour ahead of Celtic with a 3pm start at home to Dundee United today.
