Leeds fell to a 3-1 defeat away to Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
Pressure has been starting to pile on Daniel Farke, with Leeds having won just one of their last five and two of their previous 10 in all competitions.
Given the fixtures that lie ahead, it was crucial that they came away from the City Ground with three points, and Lukas Nmecha gave them an early lead, though that lasted just minutes before Ibrahim Sangare levelled for the hosts.
From there on, the Whites looked second best, with Morgan Gibbs-White directing a header into the back of the net with just over 20 minutes to go to give his side the lead.
Omari Hutchinson was fouled in the box in the dying minutes by substitute Jack Harrison, with Elliot Anderson getting on the scoresheet from the penalty spot to seal all three points.

MORE LEEDS STORIES
Lukas Nmecha proves Daniel Farke wrong
As has been the theme a lot for Leeds this season, they struggled to get their striker involved in the game, and in this case, it was Nmecha.
However, Nmecha was able to get on the score sheet with his first real involvement in the game, something which Dominic Calvert-Lewin has failed to do in his last five appearances.
In fact, with his goal, Nmecha is now Leeds’ top scorer for the season, alongside Joe Rodon, with it clear that he deserves the nod going forward.

Farke needs to get the ball into his forwards more often, and if Leeds are to take their chances, it’s hard to make a case against Nmecha being the man to do that.

Sean Longstaff has a day to forget vs Nottingham Forest
Sean Longstaff has been a great signing for Leeds, but his display at the City Ground was comfortably among his worst so far this season.
His passing was sloppy, and he offered very little support going forward or when defending.
Longstaff‘s performance was summed up by a first-half free kick, which was passed straight to the opposition five yards ahead of him, when a cross into the area was by far the best option.

Given his experience and the quality he has shown this season, he will bounce back very quickly, but he was uncharacteristically poor on Sunday.
