Following their two-game losing streak, the Bills have bounced back with two straight wins over the Carolina Panthers and Kansas City Chiefs. Now, Buffalo travels to Miami to face the Dolphins for the second time this season.

In the first matchup, on “Thursday Night Football” during Week 3 in Buffalo, the teams were primarily locked into a one-score game before Bills kicker Matt Prater drilled a field goal in the final moments to give them a 10-point lead. The kick secured Buffalo’s 31-21 win.

Since playing the Bills, the Dolphins’ record has faltered to 2-7. It resulted in general manager Chris Grier’s firing after Miami was blown out by the Baltimore Ravens on “Thursday Night Football” last week.

With Miami and the New York Jets both in contention for the No. 1 pick in the NFL draft, the AFC East is a two-team race between Buffalo and the New England Patriots. The Bills enter Sunday a game back of the Patriots in the win column.

Should they defeat Miami and New England fall to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Bills will regain first place in the conference standings.
