The Hammers attended the iconic event following the election of lifelong West Ham supporter, Alderwoman Dame Susan Langley DBE, as the 697th Lady Mayor of London for 2025-26.
West Ham United’s took a float to the parade took, which was near the front of the three-mile-long procession, showcasing the history and legends of the club since its formation in 1895, to the clubs’ achievements and diversity and the community work delivered by the Club’s Foundation.
The float travelled from Mansion House through the heart of the City of London and were cheered on by more than 350,000 people and watched by millions more around the world.
The club was represented by former player and current club ambassador Matt Jarvis, and he was joined by a number of West Ham United Foundation community programmes participants.
Jarvis said: “It’s a community, it’s a family and everyone’s here enjoying themselves with the smiles on everyone’s faces and interacting with the crowds as well. That’s one of the best parts about it, joining in with the fans singing ‘I’m Forever Blowing Bubbles’ or ‘Come on you Irons’.

The Lord Mayor is the head of the governing body for the "Square Mile," the UK's financial district. The role is largely ceremonial, involving hosting dignitaries and representing the city at events, but also includes presiding over city meetings.
