Barcelona have announced their starting eleven heading into their crucial matchup against Celta Vigo at the Balaidos.
Coach Hansi Flick has made a few defensive changes from the midweek draw with Olympiacos. While the struggling Wojciech Szczesny continues in goal, Jules Kounde has been replaced by Eric Garcia at right-back.
Ronald Araujo, who hosted a group meal ahead of the game, comes back into the starting eleven, technically replacing Kounde, now that Garcia is starting at right-back.
With Pedri injured, the midfield remains unchanged for Barcelona. Frenkie de Jong will play a crucial role leading Barcelona’s second line of press, with Marc Casado offering himself as a passing option.
Fermin Lopez is currently Barcelona’s most in-form player and will operate as a number ten, hoping to provide creative support to the attackers.
Speaking of which, Flick has decided to replace Ferran Torres with Robert Lewandowski, who will spearhead the Barcelona frontline tonight.
Lewandowski will receive support from Marcus Rashford and Lamine Yamal on the flanks, with the former looking to improve his performances after a dull showing against Olympiacos.
