Newcastle United Eddie Howe press conference review: Pre Brentford

Newcastle United fans can take control of the Magpies on Football Manager 2026 - but who is their highest valued player?

The latest version of the popular Football Manager gaming series was officially released earlier this week as Newcastle United fans get to step into Eddie Howe’s shoes and take control of their beloved club.

After a two-year wait and several delays, Sports Interactive confirmed the full 2026 edition of Football Manager was now available and, unsurprisingly, Newcastle have one of the highest valued squads across the Premier League. Following their Carabao Cup final success and qualification for the Champions League for the second time in three season, the Magpies are expected to hit the heights once again during any virtual manager’s first season in the St James Park dugout.

Despite the summer sale of Alexander Isak, United can still boast a wealth of talent and some of the highest valued players in English football’s top tier with the likes of club record signing Nick Woltemade and midfielder trio Sandro Tonali, Joelinton and Bruno Guimaraes all value well in excess of £50m. But who is the Magpies highest valued player according to the extensive list of researchers at Sports Interactive? We take a look at the facts and figures behind the United squad.
