Former Newcastle United star Papiss Cisse turned heads on Sunday, scoring a whopping six goals for Wythenshawe FC's over-35s team in a 13-0 thrashing of South Liverpool.
The ex-Premier League ace is part of a high-profile veterans team in the Cheshire Veterans Football League that have been dominating their rivals, and this weekend was no exception.
Cisse had a shaky start, with his penalty saved and his follow-up shot hitting the post. Even his corner kick went awry, dragging across the floor and out for a goal-kick.
However, the Senegal international redeemed himself spectacularly in the second half of the match in Greater Manchester, netting a double hat-trick.
Journalists were present at Hollyhedge Park to witness the top-of-the-table clash between Wythenshawe and South Liverpool, and they saw both the highs and lows of the 40-year-old's performance.

James Ducker from The Telegraph tweeted: "Things you don't expect to see at a Sunday League vets game... Former Newcastle and Senegal striker Papiss Cisse missing a penalty then kicking a corner straight out."
But Cisse proved his mettle in the second half, scoring six goals and effectively sealing the victory for his team. He showcased his Premier League calibre with an audacious chip to extend their lead.
After the match, he was swarmed by fans seeking autographs and photos, a testament to his standout performance.

It's the latest goal bonanza for the star-studded veterans outfit. This campaign has seen them demolish the likes of AFC Monton, Radcliffe Old Boys and Collegiate Old Boys by scorelines of 7-1, 10-1 and 6-2 respectively.
Cisse bagged a sensational six-goal haul in their demolition of Liverpool veterans side Collegiate, whilst the likes of Joleon Lescott, George Boyd and Stephen Ireland have all found the net during Wythenshawe's blistering start to the campaign.
The club boasts an impressive roster of Premier League legends including Emile Heskey, Danny Drinkwater, Maynor Figueroa and Oumar Niasse.
Speaking previously on All Out Football's In The Mixer podcast, Lescott revealed: "Over 35s, I'm a striker, 10k I did yesterday (running stats in the game).
"Two poachers goals to be fair, I recognised when the danger was and the other one, I forced the error. For the level, I can press quite intensely, the defender went to pass back, hit it short and I went around the goalie.
