The Buffalo Bills felt confident after defeating the Kansas City Chiefs 28-21 last week. Bills quarterback Josh Allen, who made NFL history during the victory, was proud of his team.
“They’re the pinnacle of what you want your franchise to be,” he told reporters of Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs. “They’ve been that for the last eight years. Any time you get a chance to play the best and you can come away with a victory, you’re going to be feeling pretty good.”
Heading into Week 10 against the Miami Dolphins, the Bills were deemed heavy favorites to walk away with another victory. Buffalo has won their past seven consecutive games against Miami. However, the Bills struggled early and often against the Dolphins.
Down 16-0 in the third quarter, things continued to unravel when Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid exited the game with a hamstring injury. Kincaid, Allen’s top target, entered Week 10 leading the team in receiving yards (411), receiving touchdowns (4) and 20-plus yard receptions (9).
While at first it seemed like Kincaid could shake off the injury and get back in the game, the Bills got bad news before the fourth quarter started.

The Bills announced on X that Kindcaid was “downgraded to OUT,” which is obviously a huge blow to Buffalo’s offense.
Before exiting the game, Kincaid led all of Buffalo’s receivers with 37 yards on two catches. The Bills not having a true No. 1 wide receiver has plagued the team for weeks, With Kincaid out, Allen’s lack of a deep threat weapon is even more of an issue.
