Josh Allen didn’t hold back after Bills embarrassing loss to Dolphins

After taking down the Kansas City Chiefs in dominant fashion, it was hard for Buffalo Bills fans not to think that this team was heading in the right direction. Those thoughts evaporated after the team put together an absolute garbage performance against the Dolphins in Week 10.

Maybe this loss wouldn't have been viewed as so poorly had these been the same Dolphins we've gotten used to watching in recent years. But no, this loss came against a Dolphins team that had only won two games coming into this one. The Dolphins had no problems against Buffalo this week, winning 30-13 and dropping the Bills to 6-3 and now two wins behind the Patriots in the AFC East race.

Quarterback Josh Allen [summed it up perfectly](https://x.com/BuffaloBills/status/1987630434235076936) following the game, pointing out how the Dolphins simply wanted this game more than the Bills did.

_**"They came ready to play. They wanted it, obviously, a little more than us," Allen said. " I gotta be better. Gotta be better in the protection game, in the pass game, in the run game, all of it."**_

Josh Allen gets real about Bills’ meltdown against Dolphins

-----------------------------------------------------------

Give credit to the Dolphins, they did indeed look ready to play and appeared to want the win more than Buffalo did. It didn't matter that the Bills were riding high after their win over KC a week ago or that they needed this win to stay in the thick of the AFC East, they were outmatched and it was clear as day that was the case.

Allen also took accountability for the loss, noting that he has to be better but also pointing out that the protection, pass game, run game, and "all of it" need to be better as well. Yeah, when you only score 13 points against a mostly bad defense, that's not good.

This Bills team is so hard to figure out at this point and, for the first time since the 2019 season, they might be playing in the postseason as a wild card team and not as a division winner. Hopefully they can figure things out and reverse course so that doesn't happen though.
