SAINTS goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale is reportedly keen on making his loan move to Newcastle United permanent at the end of this season.
Ramsdale, 27, joined the Magpies on loan from Southampton in the summer, with Championship Saints side landing a £4million fee as part of the deal.
The Premier League side have an option to buy Ramsdale, who Saints paid an initial £18million to sign from Arsenal, at the end of the season.

A report from [Chronicle Live](https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/aaron-ramsdale-makes-newcastle-united-32833060https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/aaron-ramsdale-makes-newcastle-united-32833060?ref=ed_direct) notes that Ramsdale is keen to see a deal struck for him to remain at St James' Park following a successful start behind the scenes on Tyneside.
The former Arsenal shot-stopper had not featured in the Premier League for Newcastle until Sunday's 3-1 defeat to Brentford.
Ramsdale came on to replace a concussed Nick Pope in the second half and was sent the wrong way by an Igor Thiago penalty in his first action of the game.
The Brazilian forward then doubled his tally for the afternoon by slotting the ball through Ramsdale's legs in added time.
Ramsdale, who still harbours ambitions for an England return, has played twice for Newcastle in Carabao Cup victories over Bradford and Tottenham.
