With its tough run of fixtures now out of the way, Liverpool’s players will now be looking ahead to more international duty - and a decisive week in World Cup qualification for some.
There are 20 Liverpool players in action during the November international break, including 15 senior internationals as the race to reach next year’s tournament in the USA, Canada and Mexico reaches its final stages.
The final round of European qualifiers takes place over the next week or so, with a number of Arne Slot’s squad hoping to secure their places at the World Cup, or at the very least a spot in the play-offs.
Meanwhile, Mohamed Salah, Alexis Mac Allister and Wataru Endo will be in friendly action for their respective countries, having already safely booked their places in the tournament.
There will be some notable absentees during the break, with Alisson Becker, Jeremie Frimpong and Giovanni Leoni out injured, while Federico Chiesa and Curtis Jones have once again missed out on call-ups. Alexander Isak though could feature, despite only returning to training recently.
