Aaron Rodgers appears to curse about Calvin Austin III after dropped pass

Aaron Rodgers couldn’t help but show off his colorful vocabulary during his team’s latest loss.

Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers had a nightmare game on “Sunday Night Football” this week against the Los Angeles Chargers. The former MVP quarterback completed just 16/31 passes for 161 yards with one touchdown to two interceptions as Pittsburgh lost by a final score of 25-10.

One particularly unsightly moment came in the fourth quarter when Rodgers threw a short pass to a wide-open Calvin Austin III off a crossing route. Austin botched the easy catch, and the ball kicked up into the air where it was intercepted by Chargers cornerback Donte Jackson.

As he was walking off the field, Rodgers appeared to curse about Austin. Amateur lip-readers online believed that a frustrated Rodgers said, “F–king Austin dropped it again.”

Here is the video.

That theory would check out given that Rodgers has already had some issues with Austin earlier this season. Back in September, Rodgers yelled at Austin during a game for causing another interception.

Of course, Rodgers wasn’t really on top of his game on Sunday either and missed a number of throws during the contest to other receivers as well, including DK Metcalf and Roman Wilson. While the Steelers are still a decently respectable 5-4 on the season (and just had their best win of the season last week over the Indianapolis Colts), the sloppy performance by Rodgers and the rest of the offense against the Chargers even had head coach Mike Tomlin feeling some kind of way.
