Kafaji says draw is annoying as she saves a point for Albion at Liverpool

Rosa Kafaji gave [Albion](https://www.theargus.co.uk/sport/albion/?ref=au) a big lift as they look forward to playing at the Amex.

The forward on loan from Arsenal scored deep in added time to secure a 1-1 draw at Liverpool.

But the Seagulls will be disappointed to drop points against the bottom team in the WSL.

They looked like coming up empty-handed after Carla Camacho headed against the woodwork and Fran Kirby had an effort cleared off the line.

There was also some fine goalkeeping from Liverpool’s Faye Kirby.

But the pay-off came in the closing moments as Nadine Noordam pulled the ball back and Kafaji put away a low, first-time finish.

Kafaji said: “That’s good we get one point but I think we should have got three.

“We had a lot of chances that we should have scored so it is a bit annoying.”

Albion conceded a soft opening goal and then saw Liverpool twice hit the crossbar.

Head coach Dario Vidosic said: “You can always have bad days but I think the very least we can do, especially for the travelling supporters and people who tune in to watch, is we work hard, we give everything for the club we represent.”

Albion face Charlton in the League Cup on Wednesday, then take on Leicester City in the WSL at the Amex on Sunday.
