Manchester United head into the final international break of the year with mixed emotions after Saturday's 2-2 draw at Tottenham.
Matthijs de Ligt scored in the dying moments to salvage a point for United, who seemed on course for a measure of revenge against Spurs for their Europa League final defeat when Bryan Mbeumo, under former boss Thomas Frank, netted an opener in the 32nd minute. However, Mathys Tel equalised for the hosts just six minutes from the end, after star defender Harry Maguire went off injured for the Red Devils.
Shortly afterwards, substitute Benjamin Sesko was also forced to hobble off, leaving United a man down for the final minutes. Ruben Amorim was staring down the barrel of his first defeat since September when Richarlison found the back of the net in the 91st minute. But De Ligt headed home Bruno Fernandes' corner in the final seconds in north London, extending United's unbeaten streak to five games, although the head coach was left wanting more.
Amorim will be feeling much more upbeat than during the last international break, when his future was under serious scrutiny. However, the Portuguese coach will be pondering what could have been following back-to-back 2-2 draws at Nottingham Forest and Spurs. Here's a round-up of the latest news from Old Trafford.

The concerning knee injury sustained by Sesko after he came on as a substitute at Spurs could leave United short-staffed up front as winter approaches.
Consequently, Amorim might feel the need to delve back into the transfer market for a striker when the January window swings open.
However, a return for Hojlund is off the table following his loan move to Napoli in the summer, reports the Mirror.
According to the Manchester Evening News, Napoli may have the option to make Hojlund's move permanent for £38million next summer.

Meanwhile, Fabrizio Romano suggests the temporary deal includes an option which could become obligatory.
Those involved in the deal believe this to be 'guaranteed' if they secure Champions League qualification.
The current Serie A champions are presently second in the league, trailing leaders AC Milan only on goal difference. As such, United do not have a recall clause available should they wish to bring him back to Old Trafford in January.

Sheffield Wednesday manager Henrik Pedersen has heaped praise on United's young talent Harry Amass, as he seeks to extend the defender's loan stint at Hillsborough.
The left wing-back has been a revelation since joining the beleaguered Wednesday side in the summer. Amass has made such an impact that Pedersen has already initiated talks with United officials about keeping him in South Yorkshire for the remainder of the season.
With the Owls potentially facing a takeover after entering administration, the terms of the deal could shift. However, this won't change Pedersen's eagerness to retain the youngster for the rest of the season.
"I spoke with Kevin [Beadell, United recruitment manager]," revealed Pedersen. "We have been in Manchester to have a meeting with them about this situation for the future.

"I think we should have this back in the next two or three weeks when we speak about the development from Harry and what it could look like after Christmas."
