Celtic could make an approach for Man City goalkeeper
With Kasper Schmeichel potentially in his last season, Celtic are considering the option of a new goalkeeper in the coming months.
Viljami Sinisalo has proven to be a capable back-up and Ross Doohan is third in the rankings, meaning a new shot-stopper will be required if Schmeichel departs.
According to reports, Celtic like the look of Stefan Ortega.
The Manchester City star has dropped down the rankings following the arrivals of Gianluigi Donnarumma and James Trafford.
Ortega is 33, but six years younger than the Hoops’ current number one, opening the door to a possible January move.
Celtic tracking Morocco U20 World Cup winner Hossam Essadak
Morocco is a hotbed for football talent right now and the future looks bright after they recently won the U20 World Cup in Chile.
Hossam Essadak was a huge part of that, and caught the eye of Celtic scouts in attendance at the tournament.

The 20-year-old was the captain of the national team and his performances reportedly grabbed the attention of Sunderland and the Bhoys.

Reports have claimed that Celtic have made a move for Essadak, who is still playing his football in Morocco with Union Touarga.
He isn’t the only midfielder to be linked as a January move for David Watson could also be on the cards, but it seems clear that the middle of the park is somewhere the club want to improve.
John McGinn to Celtic is looking unlikely
John McGinn has hinted about wanting to play for Celtic for the majority of his career, but those days appear to be fading away.
McGinn signed a new contract with Aston Villa last week, extending his stay until 2028.
By that point, the Scotland international will be 34, and still have life in the tank, but may no longer be an option for the Bhoys.
Charlie Mulgrew has backed McGinn to play for the Hoops, but we will have to wait and see if that dream does come true.
