President Donald Trump surprised many football fans when he showed up to the Lions-Commanders game over the weekend. Trump’s visit made him the first sitting POTUS to attend a regular-season football game since 1978. Trump has always been a major football fan, and one of his first public events after being sworn in for the second term was to attend Super Bowl LIX between the Eagles and the Chiefs earlier this year.
Trump’s presence at the game was definitely not in anyone’s books for the day, and the President even managed to get some points about the game during the third quarter with Jonathan Vilma and Kenny Albert. The interview was clearly something and has been going viral on social media, even getting a reaction out of Jason Whitlock.

“I will say that your second-string, your backup quarterback, is a good quarterback and he’s had some very good games for you. And your first-string quarterback has the potential to be a great quarterback. He’s got to stop the injuries somehow.”President Donald Trump said.
“Trump interview is the first time I’ve seen Fox Sports depart from ESPN in a significant way. That was amazing. President Trump did a good job.”Jason Whitlock tweeted.

President Donald Trump’s statements about Jayden Daniels, who is the first-string QB for the Commanders, are pretty true. Daniels’ entry into the Commanders has been phenomenal for the team, but his recent injury has left the team in shambles in the last few games.
Donald Trump Re-Confirms New Commanders Stadium
In the same interview with Fox Sports, President Donald Trump also spoke about the upcoming new stadium for the Commanders. The new stadium is planned with a budget of $3.7 billion, and the current POTUS has been moving mountains specifically for this.

“By the way, they’re going to build a beautiful stadium. That’s what I’m involved in. We’re getting all the approvals and everything else. And you have a wonderful owner, Josh and his group. And you’re going to see some wonderful things.” President Trump said.
While he didn’t mention so in the interview, the White House, a few days earlier, said that President Donald Trump wanted the new stadium to be named after him. For the same reason, President Trump has been receiving some major trolling on social media, with many calling him too egoistic in his aspirations.
