Chelsea sit third in the Premier League heading into the international break after a convincing 3-0 win against struggling Wolves on Saturday.
Malo Gusto, Joao Pedro and Pedro Neto were all on the scoresheet for the Blues at Stamford Bridge, temporarily moving Enzo Maresca’s side up to second in the table prior to Manchester City’s win over Liverpool on Sunday.
After the international break the Blues will visit Turf Moor to face Burnley, before they host Barcelona in the Champions League group phase.
Maresca will hope to see his side continue their recent good run of form when they return to action after the internationals, but in the meantime it has emerged that the West London side are in the running to sign a Serie A sensation.
As per CaughtOffside, Chelsea have made an enquiry about Como attacking midfielder Nico Paz.
The 21-year-old joined Como from Spanish side Real Madrid last year and has since been in fine form for the Italian outfit.

He has started the new season impressively, scoring four goals and providing the same number of assists in 11 Serie A matches.
According to the report, Chelsea have been monitoring the young Argentine as they believe he has huge potential and could eventually be worth in excess of £80 million.
Paz is under contract at Como until 2028, but his former side Real Madrid could take advantage of buy-back clauses included in the deal that took him to Italy.
The la Liga giants have the opportunity to re-sign the midfielder for less than £8 million next year, while that figure will rise by just £1 million in 2027.
Fellow Italian side Inter Milan have also emerged as potential suitors for Paz, with the Serie A giants said to be plotting a bid in the region of £50 million for the player.
