Failure to dominate these 3 matchups in Week 10 will doom Eagles against Packers

The moment has finally arrived as the Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers clash for the final game of Week 10.

Both teams enter the game with just two losses and a shot at taking first place in the NFC and control their own destiny for the number one seed. Philly has won their last two games, including a six-point win against the Minnesota Vikings and a blowout victory against the New York Giants before their bye week last week. The Packers lost in the last second against the Carolina Panthers last week.

With both teams needing a win, there are three player matchups that will not only be fun to watch as a fan, but are imperative for each team to win to take the game.

A.J. Brown vs. Keisean Nixon

Jalen Hurts' favorite target is back, and this season, he doesn't have to deal with his new teammate, Jaire Alexander, for the Packers. This time, he's got Nixon, who is second in the NFL in pass deflections with 11. Brown has a chance to flex his muscle again against the Packers, and with two weeks of rest, he's going to look stronger than ever coming back.

Micah Parsons vs. Lane Johnson

What a critical match this is as Parsons is one of the best pass rushers in the NFL, going up against one of the best tackles in NFL history in Johnson. Parsons and Johnson are very familiar with each other, having faced off against each other during Parsons' tenure with the Dallas Cowboys. If Johnson can keep Parsons to zero quarterback pressures for the second straight week, watch for Hurts to dominate from the pocket.

Quay Walker vs. Saquon Barkley

After a rough start to the 2025 season, Barkley exploded with a 150-yard rushing performance in the win against the Giants. The 2024 Offensive Player of the Year goes up against linebacker Quay Walker, who commands the middle of the defense on the Packers. Only one 100-yard game this season isn't scaring most NFL defenses, but if Barkley runs past or through Walker, watch out for another big game from one of the NFL's best.
