After fuelling rumours on social media, Foo Fighters have announced two huge Anfield Stadium gigs. The US band will perform at the home of Liverpool FC on Thursday, June 25 and Saturday, June 27. It will be the first time Dave Grohl has performed in Liverpool since 2008, when he joined Paul McCartney on stage during his headline performance.
Foo Fighters, who are fronted by former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl, are known for iconic rock anthems such as 'All My Life,' 'The Pretender,' 'Best Of You' and 'My Hero' and their incredible live performances.
