Premier League champions Liverpool suffered another devastating defeat o Sunday as they were beaten 3-0 by Manchester City.
Despite spending in excess of £400 million during the summer transfer window, Arne Slot’s side have so far lost five of their 11 games in the league this term and already sit eight points behind leaders Arsenal.
The Reds have also been knocked out of the Carabao Cup – suffering a defeat against Crystal Palace – although they have been in good form in the Champions League and look set to qualify for the knockout phase of the competition.
Away from the action, however, it appears that one of Liverpool’s longest-serving players is set to depart the club next year.
As per Fichajes, full-back Andy Robertson is set to depart Anfield when his current contract expires at the end of the season.

The Scottish defender joined Liverpool from Hull City back in 2017 and has since made more than 250 appearances for the club across all competitions.
Robertson, 31, has won nine trophies during his spell on Merseyside, including the Champions League and two Premier League titles.
His current deal is set to expire at the end of the season, though, and the report suggests that the Scotland international is set to depart Anfield.
Robertson’s position in Slot’s side looked to be under threat when the Premier League champions signed fellow left-back Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth over the summer, but the former Hull man has made 12 appearances so far this term and featured in six of their 11 Premier League games.
It is claimed that the full-back could make a return to boyhood club Celtic, with the Scottish champions said to have already held some talks about signing the player next summer.
As he is in the final year of his current contract, Robertson will be free to sign a pre-contract agreement with any club outside of England from January onwards.
