Another week means one of many things in EA Sports FC 26 — but most importantly, a new Team of the Week that could feature arguably the best footballer to ever play the beautiful game.
Gamers were left largely unimpressed by the latest TOTW 8 squad that is currently available in Ultimate Team packs.
It was headlined by Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice (88) and AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan (88), while Sporting Lisbon star Pedro Goncalves (86), Real Madrid defender Alvaro Carreras (86) and more were also included.
But it hasn't all been disappointing, however, thanks to the release of the game's latest promo, UEFA Primetime, which also brought three new Heroes.
Looking ahead to the new TOTW 9 squad, it is looking ever more likely to include Lionel Messi's first TOTW player item of the year thanks to his two goals and one assist against Nashville.
While Barcelona forward Robert Lewandowski is surely a shoe-in thanks to his hat-trick in a 4-2 win over Celta Vigo on Sunday.
Take a look at Mirror Gaming's full predictions for Team of the Week 9 in EA Sports FC 26.
EA FC 26 TOTW 9 release date and time
