According to the latest reports by Spanish publication Fichajes, the Merseysiders are preparing an €80m offer to bring the Ghanaian international to Anfield Stadium, with Arne Slot keen to sharpen his forward line. The Dutch head coach at L4 views the 25-year-old as a high-upside fit for the system that he has deployed at Kirkby.
The report states that Liverpool look at the high-flying Cherries star as a potential replacement for Mohammed Salah. The Egyptian star has not found his firing gear this season, which has pushed the stakeholders at Liverpool to consider cashing in on the 33-year-old, especially with Saudi clubs interested in his signing.

While Tottenham hold long-term interest in his signature, Liverpool coming in with their intention to offer such a steep fee puts the North Londoners in a tricky position. This not only increases any possible fee but also means that a club that is in a better place in their project coming in for his signatures can turn his head away from Hotspur Way.
