The brass at La Liga outfit Levante recently knocked back a considerable proposal for the signature of star striker Karl Etta Eyong.
As much, it is understood, was tabled by Russian giants CSKA Moscow, with a view to the winter transfer window.
The offer in question came in around the €30 million mark.
As per the terms of Etta Eyong’s contract, however, his release clause for clubs outside of Spain stands at €40 million.
For this reason, according to GiveMeSport (as cited by **[Mundo Deportivo](https://www.mundodeportivo.com/futbol/levante/20251110/1002566966/30-millones-euros-etta-eyong.html)**), the Levante board showed little hesitation in rejecting the bid.
Frontman Etta Eyong is for his part said to be attracting interest from a whole host of top clubs across the continent at present.
This comes with the Cameroonian in the midst of a remarkable opening to the season to date.
Barcelona, Real Madrid, Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United are just some of the clubs keeping a close eye on his development.
Levante, however, are adamant that Etta Eyong will be going nowhere until next summer at the earliest.
