Tottenham and AIA announce new extension to historic partnership
While we open a new chapter in the Lilywhites book, one that is post Daniel Levy, AIA stays as the main shirt front sponsor until the end of 2026/27, and then they will move onto the training kit as Global Training Partner from July 2027 to June 2032.
Tottenham announce new AIA deal
This extension will mean that the club will be associated with a Hong Kong-based company for close to a couple of decades. It is easily one of the longest-running partnerships in Premier League history.
It’s interesting how this deal was framed when announced. They called it a health-and-performance collaboration as much as a branding contest partnership. With this, AIA has pledged to keep using football to promote healthier living across Asia.
While announcing the historic extension in Hong Kong, Stuart A. Spencer, who is the CMO at AIA Group, reflected on the evolution of the partnership with Tottenham, saying that it “reflects our shared belief in the power of sport to inspire healthier living” before going on to add that Asia “is the region with the Premier League’s largest fanbase.”
Ryan Norys, who is the Chief Revenue Officer at Hotspur Way, went on to call this “the next chapter of a special partnership”, one that has already delivered “unforgettable moments” on and off the pitch.
AIA & Tottenham have had massive global impact together
Tottenham taking historic partnership to “the next chapter”; lucrative deal in place at N17.
Tottenham and AIA have been collaborating for a long time
There will not be any visibility lapse before this phase of taking AIA into a Global Principal Partner begins. AIA remains the Lilywhites’ front shirt sponsor to the end of the 2026/27 season. This means that we will still see AIA in full sight on matchdays before starting the training side of things.
And the fact that AIA has been on the kit for years is also about having this continuity of a global representation; it is about the footprint that this collaboration has had. Tottenham have enjoyed significant brand growth with AIA, from building a new stadium to winning a European trophy.
Since 2013, there have been over 175,000 young people in Asia who have attended AIA football clinics that have been provided by the coaches from Tottenham. And renewing this deal also reaffirms how Tottenham at the stakeholder level are committed to this pipeline and to engaging a wider public audience not only around training but also around health and wellbeing.
