West Ham United have shown flickers of recovery under Nuno Espírito Santo, securing back-to-back Premier League victories to spark a glimmer of hope in what has otherwise been a turbulent campaign.
A 3–1 win over Newcastle United was followed by a thrilling 3–2 triumph over Burnley at the London Stadium, with goals from Callum Wilson, Tomas Soucek, and Kyle Walker-Peters sealing consecutive victories for the first time this season.
Despite that, the Hammers still sit 18th in the table, meaning the fight for survival is far from over.
As January approaches, much of the focus will be on strengthening key areas — but just as crucial will be keeping hold of their top players, with star forward Jarrod Bowen once again linked with a move away.

According to Football Insider, Jarrod Bowen is “content” at West Ham and is not expected to leave the club anytime soon — despite persistent interest from Liverpool.
The report notes that the winger’s stance remains unchanged from earlier this season, when sources confirmed that a move away was not on the cards. However, with the Hammers battling relegation, the situation could shift depending on how the campaign unfolds.
Speaking on the Inside Track podcast, journalist Peter O’Rourke said: “I don’t think he’ll be sold in the near future.
“There’s definitely no chance he’ll move in January because they will need Jarrod Bowen to try and help them stay up in the Premier League.
“He is the club captain, he is the talisman, he’s been top scorer for the last four years. So, he’s definitely not for sale in January.”
O’Rourke did, however, admit that circumstances could change if the club’s Premier League status is in jeopardy.
“Things might change in some way, you just don’t know,” he said. “If West Ham were to suffer relegation, then there might be a chance that Jarrod Bowen could move on.”
For now, that will come as a major boost for Nuno Espírito Santo and West Ham fans alike — with their talismanic forward fully committed to the club’s survival fight.
