Unsurprisingly, Eddie Howe still has the backing of the Newcastle United owners.
Geordie Boot Boys reported after Newcastle United’s loss to West Ham that PIF had complete faith in Eddie Howe, and that situation has not changed after another Premier League loss.
Newcastle were beaten by Brentford on Sunday, resulting in the Toon boss being put under more pressure. Some fans on social media have debated the possibility of changing managers, but there is no change forthcoming in the real world.
Former Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew has backed Eddie Howe to sort out the Magpies’ problems, and that is a view shared by PIF.

PIF have no plans to sack Eddie Howe
With Newcastle down in 14th and without an away win in the Premier League, it would be easy for the Newcastle United owners to pile the pressure on Eddie Howe.
However, that is not how PIF operate. They do not make overly emotional decisions, taking a strategic approach to everything that they do.
That is why, according to the Athletic, Howe is being backed to find a solution to Newcastle United’s problems.
They report that there are no plans to find a new manager, with Howe boasting a lot of credit for his previous accomplishments at St James’ Park.

PIF backing Eddie Howe after Newcastle United’s disruptive summer
On top of that, the Athletic add there is an ‘appreciation’ from PIF for the difficult situation that Howe is overseeing after the Alexander Isak debacle.
That transfer saga dominated the entire summer, with Newcastle still feeling the effects. It forced the arrival of Nick Woltemade, who is forcing Howe to change his style of play. There was also the arrival of Yoane Wissa, but he has not been fit enough to make his debut.
While Newcastle United want to forget all about Isak, his departure continues to be felt. That has to be taken into consideration, although Howe will refuse to use it as an excuse for his side’s shortcomings.
