Raptors’ Ingram fined $25K for water bottle slam

Toronto Raptors forward Brandon Ingram was fined $25,000 by the NBA on Monday for “forcibly throwing his water bottle to the floor” after sitting down on the bench during a game against the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday.

The water bottle hit a game attendant and caused the game to be delayed to dry the court.

The Raptors lost the game 130-120.

The 28-year-old Duke product is averaging 21 points, 6.3 rebounds and four assists while shooting 51 per cent from the field over 10 games with the Raptors in 2025-26, his debut season with the organization.

Ingram was acquired from the New Orleans Pelicans ahead of last season’s trade deadline, but didn’t play in any games due to an ankle injury.

The 10-year veteran signed a three-year, $120 million contract in February.

The 5-5 Raptors will take on the Nets in Brooklyn on Wednesday.
