The Green Bay Packers are about an hour away from kickoff their Week 10 matchup of the 2025 NFL season against the Philadelphia Eagles. This particular game was one that many fans had circled on their calendars right when the 2025 NFL schedule was released.
Of course, this is because the Packers fell to the Eagles twice last season. Their first loss came in Week One in Sao Paolo, Brazil, a game that saw quarterback Jordan Love sprain his MCL late in the fourth quarter and former defensive tackle Kenny Clark sustain a toe injury that affected him all year. The second came in the Wild Card Round when Green Bay was completely outclassed in every phase of the game.
That being said, as the year has gone on, Philadelphia’s addition of two former Packers players, ones fans particularly loved, also made this game one for which to be excited. Unfortunately, neither of them will be playing.
Former Green Bay Packers AJ Dillon and Jaire Alexander will not play for the Eagles in Week 10
Green Bay Packers running back AJ Dillon (28) makes a victory lap after their game Sunday, Dec. 3, 2023, at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The Green Bay Packers beat the Kansas City Chiefs, 27-19.
Prior to the start of the regular season, former Packers backup running back AJ Dillon signed a one-year contract with the Eagles after missing the entire 2024 NFL season with a neck stinger.
More recently, Philadelphia traded for former Green Bay Pro Bowl cornerback Jaire Alexander, who only appeared in two games this season for the Baltimore Ravens, oftentimes being listed as a healthy scratch.
Unfortunately, both are among the Eagles’ inactive players for their matchup with the Packers:

Alexander, who is listed as out with a knee injury/coach’s decision, did not even make the flight to Green Bay. Dillon is a healthy scratch for the second time in Philadelphia’s last three games.
