It took one half of Mnf for Kevin Patullo to seal his inevitable Eagles fate

The Philadelphia Eagles' first half performance against the Green Bay Packers in Week 10 action was about as bad as it got for the offense.

Their opening drive was going perfectly, with 16 plays and 77 yards for eight minutes and 46 seconds. Until the NFL's leader in the turnover department for having the least blew up in their face with Jalen Hurts fumbling, and the Packers recovered.

After that drive, the Eagles gained 24 yards on four drives. Philly only had six first downs and 125 total yards of offense.

There's one guy everyone is looking at for why the Eagles look bad on offense

Of course, all Eagles fans will first look to offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo, who has struggled all season but gained some confidence from the fans over the last two games. This time around against the Packers, the Eagles reverted to their old ways on offense.

Not once in the first half did Hurts take a deep shot to either A.J. Brown or DeVonta Smith. Not only that, but twice on third and long, Patullo called the coward running back draw play to either punt or throw it out of bounds on fourth down to close the half.

It doesn't help that Lane Johnson suffered a lower leg injury and is listed as questionable. The Eagles should know what to do without Johnson by now.

Philly should be running more no-huddle offense, like they did when Johnson got hurt in the Week 3 win over the Los Angeles Rams. Take the pressure off the offensive line with quick passes and get the ball out.

One other thing is to get the running game going with more outside runs for Saquon Barkley. The Eagles are successful when Barkley runs the ball well.

Can Patullo fix the mistakes of the first half? He'd better, or Eagles fans might be looking at Brian Daboll as a candidate to fix the problems next year.
