ANDONI Iraola didn’t have to say a lot to the [Cherries](http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/cherries/clubnews/?ref=au) players at halftime at Villa Park after a poor first half, with the squad knowing how poor they had been in the first period.
Bournemouth trailed by two goals at the break and were unable to gain a foothold in the match, with Villa much the better side.
But the Cherries were much better after the resumption, and threatened, hitting the post through Evanilson and seeing themselves twice brilliantly denied by Emi Martinez, first from a deflected Alex Scott shot and then from an Antoine Semenyo penalty.
Asked what was said at the break, Iraola told the Daily Echo: “Sometimes during half time you don't have to tell a lot to the players because they know, they know what's happened and they know what they have to do.
“And we focused obviously in starting much stronger, pressing more aggressively, attacking more the spaces.
“And I think we've done it quite well and I think even now we lose 4-0, I appreciate their reaction.
“The same way I think it worries me a little bit, the first half, I appreciate the reaction of the players and it's true after we concede the last two goals, but I think it was the game we had to play.
“But you cannot give 45 minutes in the Premier League and even less to a team like Aston Villa.”
