Packers’ Jordan Love opens up about level of trust in Matt LaFleur after ugly Week 10 loss to…

The 2025 NFL regular season has been an up-and-down ride for Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers. On Sunday, they stayed down, as they failed to recover from a 16-13 loss to the Carolina Panthers at Lambeau Field in Week 9, losing to the visiting Philadelphia Eagles to the tune of a 10-7 score.

Regardless of the outcome, it was a tough game to watch for Green Bay fans. Barely anything about it, especially on offense, was worth writing home about from a Packers’ perspective. While Green Bay’s defense managed to limit Saquon Barkley and the Eagles to just 10 points, the Packers’ attack couldn’t get much going.

After yet another anemic showing by Green Bay’s offense, the focus has gotten more intense on head coach Matt LaFleur.

His seat may have also become a little warmer, as the Packers’ woes on offense continue.

Despite Green Bay’s putrid offensive performance of late, Love remains very committed to LaFleur.

“I got a lot of trust in Matt,” Love said of LaFleur following the game, Jason B. Hirschhorn of The Leap. “That’s something that’s not wavering at all. I’ve been with Matt since I got here. I know exactly what he’s capable of, what the whole staff is capable of.”

Although Love did not throw an interception, he fumbled the ball twice and lost one of them. He went just 20-for-36 for 176 passing yards and zero touchdowns. As a team, Green Bay only had 261 total yards. The Packers had more first downs, 18-12, but went only 5-for-13 on third downs and turned the ball over twice, both via fumbles.

LaFleur has plenty of issues to address in Green Bay’s offense, and whether he is in danger or not of losing his job, only winning can prevent his seat’s temperature from going up.
