Andy Robertson not in talks with Celtic despite rumours

Just like the rumours around John McGinn, there has been talk of Andy Robertson coming to Celtic.

The 31-year-old is out of contract at Liverpool at the end of the season, but discussions haven’t taken place over where he may head to next.

Robertson is a boyhood Celtic fan and Ross McCormack has previously tipped the Champions League winner to join the Hoops.

But, 67 Hail Hail understands that Robertson hasn’t been in talks with Celtic and is set to sit down with his current club in the new year and begin conversations over extending his stay at the Premier League champions.

As well as looking at high-profile targets like Robertson, the Hoops are looking towards the future as well to ensure they are competing on all fronts.

Morocco U20 World Cup winner Hossam Essadak is one of those linked with the Hoops, but they aren’t the only ones.

Sunderland are also interested, however, things could have been very different just a few months earlier.

According to the Glasgow Times, the midfielder was close to joining Las Palmas for £400,000 before the move was called off.

Now that his stock has risen, UTS Rabat may demand a much higher fee for the talented player.

Lech Poznan must break transfer record to sign Luis Palma

While some signings struggle at Celtic Park, Luis Palma is thriving away from the scene.

Palma scored against Rayo Vallecano to move into double figures for goal contributions this season and has impressed the Lech Poznan faithful.

The Polish side have an option to buy him permanently, but Poznan must break their transfer record to sign Palma.

Their current record is £2m and they would have to double that at the minimum to get the transfer done.
