The Green Bay Packers’ malaise on offense continues. After suffering a 16-13 loss to the Carolina Panthers at Lambeau Field in Week 9, Jordan Love and company absorbed on Monday, also at home. Although Philadelphia was expected to present a tough challenge for Green Bay, the host team’s performance, particularly on the offensive side of the ball, was nonetheless a pain to watch.
Love went just 20-of-36 for 176 passing yards. He wasn’t picked, but he did not throw a touchdown either. He also fumbled the ball twice, losing one of them. Green Bay had two turnovers, both via fumbles, with the other one charged to running back Josh Jacobs, who also scored the only touchdown in the game for Green Bay.
Love’s fumble happened late in the second quarter, with the Packers also in field goal range. The former Utah State Aggies quarterback was sacked for a loss of nine yards, while the Eagles recovered the loose ball at their 27.
That was a lost opportunity for Green Bay, as that drive could have ended with a score, thus changing the complexion of the contest. At that point, both teams were scoreless.

Love did not mince words about his performance in the loss to Philadelphia, which also defeated the Packers twice in 2024 — in Week 1 of that season and in the playoffs.
“Not good enough, Love said, per Jason B. Hirschhorn of The Leap.
“It all starts with taking care of the ball. Turnovers are something that’s been hurting us in these close games. I’ve got to find ways to overcome that and keep being smart with the ball.”
With their loss to the Eagles, the Packers dropped to 5-3-1 and are now on a two-game losing skid.
They will look to stop their downward spiral when they lock horns with the New York Giants on the road in Week 11.
