On October 21st, Corriere dello Sport reported AS Roma have initiated talks over a deal for Nottingham Forest’s Arnaud Kalimuendo. They also stated the Reds are open to letting him leave in the winter market.
Earlier this month, Jeunes Footeux reported a French club have made an approach. They suspected it was likely to be Paris FC.
VfB Stuttgart have joined join Roma and Paris FC in the race for the Nottingham Forest player.
Sky Deutschland journalist Florian Plettenberg took to X, formerly known to Twitter, to report the Bundesliga side are still looking for a new striker in January and have added Kalimuendo to their list. He adds the German club have contacted the 23-year-old’s agent.
The Frenchman spent three years at Stade Rennais and left them for Nottingham Forest in August.
He’s played 217 minutes from nine matches so far. Kalimuendo has played only a minute in the league since Sean Dyche took charge of the English club.
His contract expires in 2030, but Plettenberg reports Nottingham Forest are open to discussing his rapid exit if there are interesting offers.
