Jack Porter kept a clean sheet to help England progress to the knockout stages of the FIFA U17 World Cup in a 3-0 victory over Egypt.
After suffering defeat in the opening group stage contest against Venezuela, Jack has started the last two matches in Qatar. The first was an 8-1 triumph over Haiti, which included a hat-trick from Chizaram Ezenwata.
That meant a victory over Egypt in the last group match would guarantee passage to the next round. The Young Guns had no trouble moving past the African nation, thanks to two goals from Reigan Hesky and a last-minute effort from Harrison Miles.
The result means the Young Lions finished in second place, behind Venezuela, qualifying for the Round of 32 where they will find out their opponents once all group stage matches are finished.
While Jack has played every minute of the World Cup campaign, Malri Salmon has been included in the squad for all three contests but has yet to feature for Liam Bramley's side.
