Claims around January move for Chelsea player dismissed – Wants to fight, even if it’s losing battle

At the start of this season, Enzo Maresca made it clear to Nicolas Jackson that he wasn’t part of his plans at Chelsea. The striker decided to leave and waited until deadline day to join Bayern Munich on loan.

The Senegal international has contributed three goals and an assist from 12 matches for Bayern Munich. Vincent Kompany has mainly used the Chelsea man as a substitute.

Bayern Munich have an option to make his stay permanent. The German club themselves have talked that possibility down.

Everton have been suggested as a possible option for the 24-year-old in the winter market. Bild relay that and then provide their own take on Jackson’s plans.

Despite these claims, they report the Chelsea owned player has no plans to cut short his loan at Bayern Munich in January. He remains focused on having an important role for the Bavarian club this season.

Harry Kane, Luis Díaz and Michael Olise are the first-choice attackers for Kompany. The possibility of Jackson operating as a No.10 will be further diminished once Jamal Musiala returns from a long-term injury.

In short, the Chelsea striker will find it difficult to feature regularly. Bayern Munich also have no intention of making his stay permanent.

Jackson, however, isn’t giving up and is willing to fight to showcase his worth. It’s going to be a difficult task for him.
