Tom Brady's post-NFL playing career remains the center of every NFL conversation, even when the story isn't directly about him.
The seven-time Super Bowl champion weighed in after FOX Sports announced that Drew Brees would replace Mark Sanchez on FOX NFL Sunday following the network's decision to cut ties with the ex-QB after his stabbing incident earlier in October.

Brady, FOX's current NFL lead analyst on a deal worth over $300 million, reacted to the news with his trademark mix of wit and Brady-infused humor. Quote-tweeting the announcement, Brady wrote, "And just like that, I become the 3rd most accurate QB at FOX Sports. (Terry still has both of us beat). Welcome to the family."

The tweet was yet another endearing moment between Brady, Bradshaw, and the cast, who roast each other on a consistent basis.

Welcoming a former rival onto the field was classy, except for one detail: he was factually incorrect. Brees still holds the title for the most accurate among the three, with a 67.7 percent completion rate over 287 career games, far ahead of the others.
Brady's 64.3 percent completion rate ranks second, while Bradshaw's career percentage is 51.9, which was the lowest of the three. Brees' achievements far surpass both in this category, with seven seasons exceeding 70 percent and five leading the league.

Despite his four Super Bowl titles and Hall of Fame status, Bradshaw never exceeded 60 percent in any single season. Brees' precision redefined passing in the 2000s, while Brady's longevity keeps him at the top of the NFL's elite quarterbacks and in the conversation as one of the greatest players in NFL history.
Brees is familiar to the media through past roles with ESPN and NBC. Sanchez's removal from the network came following serious off-field legal and medical issues.
The former Jets quarterback was arrested in Indianapolis last month following an argument with 69-year-old delivery driver Perry Tole, who later stabbed Sanchez in self-defense during a disagreement outside a restaurant.

Court documents state that Sanchez was intoxicated and forcefully pushed Tole against a wall before being pepper-sprayed and stabbing him in the abdomen. He was subsequently detained and faced charges including unauthorized motor vehicle entry, public intoxication, and felony battery causing serious bodily injury.
FOX temporarily replaced Sanchez's analyst position with Brady Quinn and Mark Schlereth until they confirmed Brees's return to the network.

The Saints' legendary player was praised on social media by the official Saints account, his former running back Mark Ingram, and ex-NFL wide receiver Lance Moore, who spent eight seasons in New Orleans.

Sanchez was brief with reporters after leaving the hospital, only saying he was recovering from his injuries after undergoing fingerprinting, registration, and mugshots at Marion County Jail. He has a criminal trial set for December 11th and could face a prison sentence ranging from one to six years.
