The next time Manchester United and Mason Mount will meet Chelsea in the Premier League is April 2026.
The two English giants played each other in September, with Mount helping United to secure a 2-1 victory against his former club.
The attacking midfielder did not score that day, so he did not get a chance to celebrate at Old Trafford.
However, Mount has now hinted at what he could do if he does eventually score a goal against Chelsea.

Mason Mount hints he could celebrate goal against Chelsea
Mount was recently asked whether a player should celebrate against their former club, and the 26-year-old explained that it depends on how the game is playing out.
He told the Premier League’s official TikTok account: “I think it depends how the game’s gone. Maybe it’s difficult to kind of hold in the passion.”
The above suggests that Mount could very well celebrate at Stamford Bridge next year should he score the winner against Enzo Maresca’s side.
Pedro Neto had no problem celebrating against Wolves after netting in Chelsea’s 3-0 win over them last weekend.
After a very frustrating first half in which the Club World Cup winners could not break Wolves down, Neto was clearly delighted and relieved when he finally managed to put the ball into their net.

Mason Mount’s Manchester United and Chelsea records compared
The sad reality for Mount is that he is not a player Chelsea fans will fear at the moment. His move to Old Trafford has simply not worked out, though injuries are largely to blame.
Despite joining United more than two years ago, the Englishman has only been able to score five goals. His output has dropped off a cliff since leaving Chelsea.

Mount is fit again, though, and seems to be a footballer appreciated by Ruben Amorim. Under the Portuguese, he may be able to turn things around.
Chelsea have fully moved on from the England international, however, with Cole Palmer proving to be more than an upgrade on him. The 23-year-old is currently out injured, but Maresca is hopeful of having him back soon.
