NFL: Report card grades for every NFC team that played Sunday in Week 10

Week ten in the NFL had some great games with incredibly exciting finishes. There were also some games that weren’t as competitive due to poor performances and sloppy play. Here is the report card grade for every NFC team that played Sunday in week ten, based on how they played, combined with what their expectations were and who their opponents were.

NFC East:

Giants QB Jaxson Dart

New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart (6) talks with players after winning the Thursday Night Football game between the New York Giants and the Philadelphia Eagles at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford on Oct. 9, 2025.

New York Giants: B-

The Giants were playing great until Jaxson Dart left the game with a concussion. Eventually, the offense stalled and the defense fell apart, blowing a 10-point lead. This offense is nothing without Dart.

Washington Commanders: D

The Commanders are one of the worst teams in football this season. Injuries have played a part in it, and the fact that they were great last year has made it impossible for them to sneak up on anyone this year. They were completely dominated by the Lions.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: B

The Bucs played a good game; they were just outplayed by a better Patriots team. The defense was torched by TreVeyon Henderson, but the offense was good, with Baker Mayfield throwing for 3 touchdown passes and Emeka Egbuka going for 115 yards and a touchdown.

Atlanta Falcons: C+

The Falcons stuck around in this game with a very good Colts team, but allowing over 300 rushing yards is as bad as it gets. What looked to be a promising start to the season is now looking like another disappointment.

New Orleans Saints: A

Not only did the Saints pull off an upset on the road this past week, but they did it with excellent defense, holding the Panthers to just 7 points. Tyler Shough threw for 282 yards and two touchdowns as well.

Carolina Panthers: D+

This was a game that the Panthers had to have if they wanted any chance to be playoff contenders this season. Unfortunately, they put up an absolute dud, scoring just 7 points against the Saints. Bryce Young only threw for 124 yards, and their great run game only rushed for 73 yards.

NFC North:

Chicago Bears: B+

This game started slowly for the Bears offense, but their strong second half, particularly their fourth quarter, amd Caleb Williams’ great QB play brought them back from a 10-point deficit as they improved to 6-3 on the year.

Minnesota Vikings: B-

The Vikings played well against a tough Ravens team, especially defensively against Lamar Jackson, but their turnovers on offense were costly, and it cost them a key game in the NFC North standings.

Detroit Lions: A

The Lions completely dominated the Commanders in week 10. The run game was great, Jared Goff was great, Jameson Williams ran free in the secondary, and the defense played well, too.

Green Bay Packers: MNF

NFC West:

Los Angeles Rams: A

Matthew Stafford continues to play elite football, throwing for four touchdown passes. The defense made enough plays overall and did an excellent job of slowing down Christian McCaffrey in the run game, limiting him to just 30 yards on the ground.

Seattle Seahawks: A-

The Seahawks jumped out for a massive 35-0 lead early thanks to two defensive touchdowns and then never looked back. They dominated the Cardinals en route to a 44-22 win and remain atop the division standings.

Arizona Cardinals: D

They had no answer for anything Seattle did in this game. The protection for Jacoby Brissett was lacking, and the defense struggled to slow down Sam Darnold and Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

San Francisco 49ers: B

Mac Jones was good, throwing for over 300 yards and three touchdowns, but the run game never got going, and the defense couldn’t slow down Matthew Stafford and the Rams offense.
