**Andy Robertson insists he remains ‘relaxed’ about his Liverpool future.**
Robertson will enter the final six months of his current deal at Anfield in January, leaving him free to strike a pre-contract move with overseas clubs.
The Scotland captain briefly appeared on the verge of leaving the Reds last summer when Atletico Madrid interest in him that was not followed up.
But as his existing contract ticks down, Robertson revealed he is taking a measured stance on negotiations over extending his time with Arne Slot’s side.
“The relationship between me and the club has been a wonderful one,” said the vice-captain.
“They’ve done everything for me, in terms of me and my family. I think I’ve not been too bad for them in terms of signing from Hull for £8 million and what I’ve done!
“Whatever happens will happen behind closed doors, I’m relaxed about the whole situation.
“If it is my last year, then it’s my last year. If it’s not, then so be it.
“I had a bit of a stressful summer in terms of decisions. I’ve said to myself, ‘just try and enjoy the next few months’ and then, obviously it will start probably taking over my life.
“That’s what happens when you go into your last six months.”
He added: “I’m just trying to focus on football. I am delighted to be back on the pitch and playing the last few games.
“Let’s see what happens, but I’m relaxed about the whole thing.”
