Saquon Barkley issues inadvertent public warning after 41-yard catch for Eagles

For most of the game, the Philadelphia Eagles' offense was pretty bad, with only three points through three quarters of play against the Green Bay Packers in Week 10, but one drive in the fourth quarter changed everything.

With over 11 minutes left in the fourth quarter and winning 3-0, the Eagles finally got some kind of spark on offense on third and seven at their own 23-yard line. Jalen Hurts found running back Saquon Barkley on a short pass, but thanks to a beautiful spin move, Barkley busted it loose for 41 yards.

On the very next play, Hurts connected with DeVonta Smith on a 36-yard touchdown pass, as that would be just enough for a 10-7 win over the Packers. Barkley shared with the media his confidence when he has the ball in his hands, which is when it counts the most.

“I got one-on-one in open space, whether it’s a spin move, whether it’s a jump — we call that a bag — I feel like I can do whatever I want in that situation. Sometimes you’ll be got, but I feel I’m going to win that situation more times than not. It was a big play for us. And even a bigger play by Smitty.”

Barkley is an elite playmaker that every Eagles fan knows

It wasn't a crazy day at the office for Barkley, but he did rush for 60 yards and added another 41 yards receiving in the win. Barkley struggled in the game with an average of 2.7 yards per carry, but his big pass play was enough for the victory.

Once again, Barkley has another game with less than 100 yards rushing, but at least he is contributing in other ways. His work on that pass play helped set up the offense with a touchdown pass to Smith.

This wasn't a perfect game by the Eagles or Barkley, but they got the better end of an ugly game and still secured their top spot in the NFC....for now.
