Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur reacts after his team was penalized for pass interference during the second quarter of their game against the Philadelphia Eagles Monday, November 10, 2025 at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
The defense has played well the last two weeks, but the offense has been a major problem. The Packers now have a 5-3-1 record and are the seventh seed in the NFC. With the loss for Green Bay, the Detroit Lions and the Chicago Bears move ahead of them in the NFC North standings. Philadelphia is currently the number one seed in the NFC. With the loss for this team, there are going to be many questions about head coach Matt LaFleur for the next several weeks.

There are fans who are starting to question LaFleur as head coach. For now, they are the seventh seed in the NFC. The San Francisco 49ers (6-4) and the Carolina Panthers (5-5) are behind them in the wild card chase. If they were to miss the playoffs, there is a chance that Green Bay could make a change at head coach.
Some fans believe that he is on the hot seat for the remainder of the season.
Matt LaFleur is officially THE problem and needs to be fired. We have one of the best defenses in decades and Matt can’t even figure out how to call basic plays, especially when it matters most. It’s a JOKE.

1. Lafleur needs to be forcefully removed from calling plays. This is terrible.
2. Our WR corp is pretty awful.
Something almost every one of the fans could have told you. This is malpractice.

If Lafleur is unwilling to give up playcalling, he needs to be fired.
It’s that simple. Hell, hire Kurt Benkert as offensive playcaller for all I care. ANYONE ELSE at this point.

Please someone tell Matt LaFleur to give up play calling. That game was harder to watch than the panthers game. Look forward all week to see the packers… for that? Really? Come freaking on.

Green Bay has a chance to fix its offensive woes when they face the New York Giants (2-8) on the road next Sunday. The Giants have one of the worst defenses in the NFL. If the Packers were to lose to New York, there will be a lot of fans calling for LaFleur to be fired.
With that being said, the Eagles will next face the Lions at home. It will be a huge game for playoff implications.
