Manchester United head into the November international break feeling much better about themselves amid a five-match unbeaten run.
The Reds earned wins over in-form Sunderland, reigning Premier League champions Liverpool and a Brighton side who have caused them major problems in recent seasons. Ruben Amorim's team have earned draws in their last two fixtures - at Nottingham Forest and Tottenham Hotspur.
United return to action on Monday, November 24 at home to Everton (8pm kick-off) before a trip to Crystal Palace six days later. Attention will also soon be turning to the January transfer window, which opens on New Year's Day before closing on February 2.
With all that said, below are some of the latest transfer reports surrounding United as well as a view on each one...
January transfer claim
Sky Sports News report that United are not expected to sign any new players in the January transfer window. RuAmorim is set to lose Bryan Mbeumo, Amad and Noussair Mazraoui to the Africa Cup of Nations which begins in late December.
Amorim has also acknowledged that the seriousness of Benjamin Sesko's knee problem might affect their strategy.
"We have to check everything, we have to check what has happened with Ben," he said.
"Of course, we are going to have a problem there [with AFCON], but we already knew. Then you can prepare that in the summer, but then you have a lot of players in the summer who are not going to play because it's one game per week. So the management of that situation is going to be hard.
"But let's see when the window is open, if we can improve the team and try to prepare something that happened. Until then, we have to take the chance."
Isaac Seelochan of the Manchester Evening News says: "With no European football, this season feels like a golden opportunity for United to sneak back into the Champions League. If this report turns out to be accurate, the Reds' decision not to strengthen in January is unlikely to go down well with fans."
Anderson 'interest' amid Baleba choice
Sky Sports Germany's Florian Plettenberg has claimed that United remain keen on Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson and have registered serious interest with a fee of £100m-£120m being demanded.
That update suggests that some form of talks have been held whether that be internally, with Forest or to Anderson's camp.
Isaac Seelochan of the Manchester Evening News says: "Anderson would be an excellent signing for United. However, if possible, they may be better served by saving their funds for Brighton's Carlos Baleba and Crystal Palace's Adam Wharton to strengthen their midfield."
