There are a lot of Dallas Cowboys fans in the NFL who also love the Dallas Mavericks. The Mavericks are not off to a good start to the 2025-26 season.

Shams Charina of ESPN said on his Twitter about Mavericks general manager Nico Harrison,
”
BREAKING: The Dallas Mavericks and owner Patrick Dumont are expected to fire general manager Nico Harrison at a 10 am central time meeting on Tuesday, sources tell me and Tim MacMahon.”
Harrison should have been fired after he traded away Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers last year at the NBA trade deadline. When this was announced, ESPN’s Adam Schefter retweeted this news as well.

When Schefter retweeted that Harrison was fired, there were a lot of NFL fans that chimed in on Twitter about the Mavericks finally getting rid of him.

A lot of Mavericks fans were happy that they finally decided to fire Nico as general manager. What Cowboys fans are waiting for next is to hear an announcement that Jerry Jones is going to sell the team. This is a happy day for Dallas sports fans.
